We invite you to become inspired Trailblazers who will experience TEDxYouth@Dayton, Dream.Dare.Decode. on March 9, 2018. Held in the Student Union at Wright State University, this event will include dynamic young speakers with ideas worth sharing; developing entertainers with unique sounds; and active participation throughout the day.

  • 250 seats are reserved for those who will be 14 to 19 years old in 2018. Each of those attendees may reserve a seat for an accompanying adult if desired.
  • 100 seats are available for adults who are not connected to a specific youthful attendee but wish to attend a live TEDx conference.

All applicants will be selected on a rolling, person-by-person basis. Most decisions will be made by February 15th or until space is filled. A lunch is available for $10 per person. All youth must fill out and bring a Medical Emergency Form (if under 18, it must be signed by a legal guardian).

If you have any questions about the application form and/or event, please contact us at [email protected].

We consider everyone at the event a TEDxYouth Trailblazer! To attend, please fill in the information below. If you are interested in volunteering, please use the volunteer application. If you are interested in performing, please use the performer application.

WHAT IS TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDayton, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDayton event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
