Beck Besecker is one half of a new generation of Dayton brothers and inventors. Beck, along with his brother, Barry, are co-founders of Marxent, a leader in Augmented Reality – a rapidly emerging technology that utilizes mobile image and object recognition to project digital content into the real world that has wide-ranging applications in education, manufacturing, medical, retail, and entertainment spaces. Prior to founding Marxent in 2011, Beck spent 13 years building innovative marketing solutions for Fortune 500 retailers. In 1999, he founded Copient, a company that enables large retailers to easily manage personalized promotions in-store and across digital mediums. Beck also served as CMO and EVP of New Business at Catalina Marketing, the nation’s largest in-store promotional network.
