The Keigo Hirakawa Trio

Biography

The Keigo Hirakawa Trio — a longstanding collaboration between Keigo Hirakawa (piano), Eddie Brookshire (bass) and Fenton Sparks (drums) — is a hard-hitting, hard-swinging, jazz piano trio that reaches the highest level of improvisational artistry. They have been described as “a band with a style that’s full of inventiveness and a sense of adventure, creativeness and voracious angularity, aggressiveness and jaggedness, passion and swing.” The Trio’s 2015 album And Then There Were Three enjoys airplay by over 100 radio stations around the country.
