THANKS TO SUGGESTIONS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS’ VOLUNTEERS, WE’VE SIMPLIFIED VOLUNTEERING:
Day-Of Volunteers: direct individuals to the Victoria Theatre, greet people, serve as gatekeeper at theatre doors, ensure cups have lids, stock snacks, hand out materials, assist with cleaning up materials at the end of the day. Volunteers will be staggered throughout the day with “rally times” where you’ll meet in a designated location for detailed instructions.You will have plenty of time to enjoy TEDxDayton!
In addition to volunteering the day-of, we ask that volunteers attend an orientation session the week of TEDxDayton to walk through the rally point times and location and answer any questions.
Rehearsal Day Volunteers: assemble name badges, prepare materials, enjoy the rehearsals, serve as a theatre gatekeeper, and help ensure TEDxDayton is ready to go.
Committee Volunteers: provide volunteer leadership in the areas of Marketing, Partnership, Speakers, Production, Logistics, and Volunteer Coordination. These volunteers are active throughout the year planning and preparing. This is a great place to use your talents (hidden or otherwise)!
Special Event Volunteers: work check-in tables, provide directions, and help events flow smoothly. These volunteers help to plan and/or execute events related to TEDxDayton.
